Dear families
Swiss Family Backpackers is a group of hostels that have a particularly family friendly atmosphere.We provide family rooms with 4 - 6 beds, baby beds for rent and have baby bath, thermometer etc. available.
You can use the common room, where no consumption is required and you can spend your time playing or reading. You find a play-corner for the younger children and
board games as well as drawing and writing material for the older ones.
In the self catering kitchen you can spoil yourselves with your favourite meals after a day
of hiking or cycling in the beautiful Swiss landscape. Children's seats are already there.
We welcome you and your children both for just one night or a longer period. Therefore,
you can flexibly plan your journey and stay on a budget in Switzerland.

Cabbiolo - Humanita Backpackers
Our Backpacker ist part of the Centro Humanita, consisting of restored stone houses, a moonpavilion, a pergola, a fireplace, a playground for kids, a trampoline, a big garden and a couple of small animals – perfectly suited for families.The houses are furnished simple and cozy. We offer lodging in different prize ranges – you can stay in a mongolian feltjurt, a dorm, a double room or a apartment.
We cook fresh organic meals or you can use the common kitchen facilities.
Geneva - City hostel Geneva
City Hostel Geneva is only 5 minutes walk from main train-station. Great hostel with small dorms, single and double rooms. We also have 7 internet stations with USB-access/CD-burner/printer, free WIFI, free kitchen facilities, relaxing room, free lockers, washing machines and a large selection of all Swiss Souvenirs.All our rooms are equipped with a sink.... (toilets, showers and kitchen are on the landing).
There is 24 hrs access for our clients (no curfew/no lockout).
Grindelwald - Downtown Lodge
Downtown Lodge is the best starting point to go in both ski- and hiking areas of the most beautiful part of the Swiss Alp, the breath taking landscape of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.Within 5 minutes you reach the main train station to go up to the beautiful top of Europe station Jungfraujoch, the cable-car up to First and other transportation possabilities as Grindelwald Bus which brings you for night sleding experience up to Bussalp.
