Backpackers Villa Sonnenhof is a comfortable and centrally located hostel that provides that little extra. With accommodation ranging from dorms to double rooms both with ensuite facilities as well as shared showers/toilets it offers everything you could desire to make your stay really enjoyable.

Hostel
Backpackers Villa Sonnenhof has a calm and friendly atmosphere. All rooms are clean and some come with Jungfrau-view balconies. There is no curfew or lockout and membership is not required.Since April 2009 our new extension building is open!
We have 26 new rooms with shower and toilet ensuite and a beautiful new reception with bistro and a lounge terrace. The chalet is unchanged and available to you, as you know it.
Facilities include:

Location
Backpackers Villa Sonnenhof is centrally located right by "Hoehematte" the park in the centre of Interlaken. It's just 12-15 minutes walk from either West or Ost train station in Interlaken.
How to find
Directions (see map on www.villa.ch/map):
Backpackers Villa is in walking distance from both railway stations (about 10-15 minutes) in the centre of Interlaken at Hohematte park.
From 'Interlaken West' station:
Turn left and follow the main street (Bahnhofstrasse) to the town center. At the roundabout (Postoffice) turn right and follow Centralstrasse. At the traffic lights (hotels National & Savoy) turn left and follow Alpenstrasse along the park (large green called 'Hoehematte'). We are located just at the next roundabout.
Or take bus no. 2 (direction 'Interlaken Ost - Ringgenberg') until stop 'Sonnenhof'.
Departure 'Interlaken West': 07.14 / 08.07 / 09.07 / ... / 19.07 / 20.07
From 'Interlaken Ost' (east) station:
Turn right and follow main street (Hoheweg) to town center. At Hotel 'Du Nord' turn left (Klosterstrasse) and follow the park (large green called 'Hoehematte'). We are located at the second corner.
Or take bus no. 2 (direction 'Interlaken West') until stop 'Sonnenhof'.
