Situated in the most beautiful region in Switzerland the Happy Inn Lodge offers a cosy hostel accommodation with a relaxed and casual atmosphere in the centre of Interlaken.
Located just 5 minutes walking distance from Interlaken West-Station, the lodge is the best starting-point for adventure and sports in summer and winter.
Our bar and restaurant, the 'Brasserie 17' is Interlakens N° 1 spot for food and fun!
From September - June we organize every Thursday night live concerts in our bar.
You are able to arrive and check in anytime from 6:00 -12:00 a.m and 1:00 p.m. - 01:00 a.m. The rooms are ready from 3:00 p.m. (when you arrive earlier you can leave your your luggage in our luggage room).

How to find us

From "Interlaken West" station:

When you get out the station, cross the street and take the "Aarmühlestrasse", the small road in between the "Import parfume" and the restaurant Bahnhof. At the end of this road you turn right. We are situated 50 meters furder down on the left side of the road.

From "Interlaken Ost" station:
When you get out the station turn right and follow the main road (Höheweg) all the way down to the traffic circle with the post office. Here you turn left and you stay at the right side after the junction, between the Bank EKI and Switcher Store. We are located at 60 meters from the Bank EKI, at the left side of the Rosenstrasse. Total walking time is appr. 20 minutes.

You can also take one of the following busses:
Bus # 2: Get of the bus at "Centralplatz" in front of the EKI Bank.
Bus # 3: until Hotel Metropole. From the Hotel Metropole you follow the main road (Höheweg) to the traffic circle with the post office. Here you turn left and you stay at the right side after the junction, between the Bank EKI and Switcher Store. We are located at 60 meters from the Bank EKI, at the left side of the Rosenstrasse. Total walking time is appr. 5 minutes.
