Laax-Cons GR 1043m

The Flims Laax Falera ski resort is much closer than you think. Just 150 minutes away from Milan, 90 minutes from Zurich and 20 minutes from Chur, there is one of Europe's best regions for snow.
It is hard to believe that so much snow, sun and an intact environment can be found just 10 minutes away from the nearest motorway exit. One glance at the 220 kilometres of slopes, mountain restaurants and après-ski bars is enough to see that Flims Laax Falera always has something to offer. At altitudes ranging from 1'100m to 3'018m meters above sea level there is plenty of room for everyone: for families or singles, snowboarders or skiers, winter hikers or freeriders. The diversity of guests can also be seen off the slopes: there are numerous sorts of mountain restaurants and a high variety of nightlife activities. A gourmet will feel just as comfortable as the laid-back romantic type or a party-keen snowboard ace.

What to do in Laax

Flims Laax is the host of such different events as the Red Bull Trailfox, the International Alpine Hot Air Balloon Week or the Menhir-Festival.
The natural wonders of Flims Laax are at least equally responsible for its international appeal: the Tschingelhörner, the high-lying Bargis valley and the Rhine Valley to name but a few astonish even the locals again and again.
The latter can be experienced best during a rafting tour on the Upper Rhine. Culinary trails promise an exceptional sensual experience; only in Flims Laax do hiking and gastronomy form such a delicious alliance.
